This precious baby is from a very remote Maasai village. His mother died and the family has no cow and no crops and are really struggling. They felt they would lose the baby if he stayed at home. Neema will keep him until he is older and he will return home. We are always glad to step in and help. Neema House Arusha is struggling too. We have 39 babies now in a home that was supposed to keep only 30.

We are looking at hiring more staff. Since we have three shifts of nannies who work 24 hours a day around the clock we don’t just hire one more person, we hire three, one for each shift. We could really use some help in sponsoring this baby.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
