Gloria Adam Mbise

This little girl is thirteen months old. Her mother left her with her grandmother and no one knows where the mother is now. The grandmother is sick and very poor and was leaving the child most of the day while she looked for work. Gloria would have nothing to eat all day and consequently is very underweight for her age. She has settled into Neema very quickly, which probably shows a significant lack of attachment to her grandmother. She is beautiful and pleasant, with huge dark eyes which are so prevalent in these precious African babies. Please help Neema House care for this little one.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
