Yacobi

Yacobi came to Neema on December 2, 2022. He is 10 days old.   His young mom was a student at the boarding school where five of our Neema Village girls to to school; Memusi, Nengai, Jojo, Yacinta and Lucia. His mom had just passed her school exams and asked to be able to go to her village during the December break. She had told no one she was pregnant.  While at her village she delivered, had complications and died.  There was no medical help in her village.  This young girl with so much promise to help her village died having a baby.  Please consider sponsoring Yacobi during his stay here at Neema.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
