Texas (Blessed)

In 2020 last year, one of the local hospitals called us about a mom and her new baby who were homeless and had no where to go.  She had been at the hospital for two weeks and they could not continue to keep her.  The nurses at the hospital had been bringing her food since the hospital does not supply food.  Neema brought both the mother and the baby home to Neema.   We have kept Texas since then but have now entered the mom into our MAP program.  She continues to feel she cannot take care of the baby right now.  Hopefully after she has set up a business she will take this little cutie pie home.  We had not posted baby Texas because we kept thinking the mother would take him home but he has now been at Neema almost a year without a sponsor.  Hopefully we can get this family back together soon.  Getting the babies home into a stable and loving home is always our goal.   You can help us do that by sponsoring a baby at Neema Village.  Bless you!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
