Nosim

Baby Nosim is about a week old.  Her Maasai mom died and the grandmother and father, along with Rick Morro, a friend, brought the baby in.  The family is Ngorongoro Crater Maasai, who are the only tribe allowed to live in the crater.   They do not feel they can take care of such a little baby so Neema is happy to set in until the baby can return home.  It is very hard for Maasai to provide clean water, sterilize bottles, buy formula after a new mom has died.  Many babies whose mom dies will not be able to survive to age 5 without a mom.  Our Save The Mothers program is helping with this problem but with six million Maasai it will take a while to train enough TBAs (traditional birthing attendants)  to make a difference.  You can help by sponsoring this little Maasai baby.  Bless you

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
