Nembris and Naleku

Nembris and Naleku were born November 20, 2022, along with their triplet sister. They came with their Maasai mother, and some family, shortly after they were born. She did not have enough milk to feed all three babies and knew she needed help. She stayed at Neema a couple months and then needed to return to her other children at the village. She continues to only have enough milk for one. So, she took the biggest baby girl and returned home. She has agreed to visits her babies once a month or more. As soon as the girls are old enough to get off of formula they will return home to their family, hopefully between nine to twelve months old.  They will need sponsors while they live at Neema Village.  It costs average monthly $300 USD to keep a baby at Neema.  Babies are expensive!  Our formula bill is over $5,000 per month.  You can sponsor for any amount beginning at $30. dollars a month.  We appreciate any amount!  Bless you!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
