Naomi Silas

February 2019- Naomi was born January 30th. She came to Neema February 19. She weighed in at 1.2 kg( 2.6 lbs.) Her mother has postpartum depression and is still in the hospital. Naomi is her fourth baby. She also had postpartum with her third child. We pray she will receive the help she needs, and will be able to care for all of her children soon. The grandmother and father came with her to Neema. The grandmother is caring for the other three children. She does not feel she could take care of four children and especially not one so small. The father is a farmer and needs to work. We pray they will all be reunited as soon as possible. Please consider sponsoring this little one while she is here.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
