April 2022-Naisula came to Neema weighing 2.8 kg (6.1lbs) at seven days old. Her birthday is April 7, 2022. She is healthy and loved.She came from Frankie’s (our first Neema baby) village with her father and grandmother. As is all too common in Maasai land, her mother died after giving birth to her. Her mother was 35 years old and Naisula was her 8th baby (two others have passed away). We are happy to love and care for Naisula until she can return home. But our hope and prayer is that through the Save the Mothers program, mothers in these remote Maasai villages will have the help they need during delivery to live so they can love and care for their own babies.
