Moses

Moses was born on May 23, 2023 and came to Neema not long after his birth.  His mother was burned at age 7 when the dress she was wearing caught fire.  She lost some fingers, and her chest was burned so badly that she is unable to produce milk.  We think she is fourteen years old.  Moses was not thriving and so they brought him to Neema.  His momma didn’t want to leave him but knew it was best.  She will be welcome to come and see him while he is with us.  Moses weighs 1.6 kg or about 3.5 lbs. so our nannies will be feeding him every two hours.  We are going to need some support for him as the nannies are paid overtime for critical babies.  Say a prayer for Moses, his momma and the nannies caring for him.
