Her name is Miracle and her name speaks to the heavenly intervention that saved her life and brought her to Neema Village this week. Her young mother was delivering her in thier home in a small village near Arusha. After many days of labor the family decided to take her to the hospital. The doctors rushed to do an emergency cescerian to save her and her mother. But her mother had lost too much blood and passed away. In Tanzania, you must have family or friends to donate blood for you for a surgery. There is no blood bank for storage of blood. We at Neema Village have been called numerous times to donate blood to save someone’s life.
