Michelle

A new baby came to Neema December 8, 2020. Her Maasai great grandmother came with her from the hospital. Her mom had died in childbirth.  She is very tiny, 2.05 kg with no fat on her little body so we will be keeping her warm tonight. This little one’s name is Michelle. Kelle Samsill got to feed her her first bottle.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
