Meshack #2

Born March 25, 2020 in the hospital, sadly his mom died after the birth. He was brought to Neema Village in April weighing only 4.9 lbs (2.24 KG). It is so sad how many moms die during childbirth in Africa.  The latest estimate is one in twenty two mothers in Sub Sahara Africa will die from complications during childbirth making getting pregnant one of the most dangerous things a woman can do.  With many new babies at Neema Village we really need your help caring for these little ones.  Please help us take the best care of Meshack that we can until he can return to a family member.  Bless you.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
