Mulitiple births of twins and triplets are very common in Tanzania. Undernourished mothers who barely have enough milk for one baby can rarely feed two babies. Formula is twelve to sixteen dollars per can and many of the Maasai families do not have money to buy formula.

Since they must carry wood to cook the family’s meals from long distances, firewood is precious and sterilizing water and bottles in homes with no electricity or refrigeration becomes a major problem for these little twins. Often the larger baby is fed and the smaller one is left out. Neema House Arusha is helping supply food, clothing and support to these two beautiful two babies. Please consider helping us by sponsoring one of these babies. Bless you for helping!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
