Maria #2

Little seven month old Maria came to Neema last evening. Both her parents are alcoholics. She was not picked up from her care provider. Social welfare was notified and then we went to pick her up. She is adjusting very well, we are happy to love her and care for her while she is here. We pray her parents will get the help they need for their little girl.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
