Majaliwa Lukumai

Majaliwa came to Neema on September 10, 2017. He was one week old. He is very healthy, over seven lbs. (3.5 kg). His mother unfortunately passed away the same day he was born. She lost too much blood during childbirth. He is the fifth sibling in his family. We hope to reunite him with his family when possible. Because of the lack of clean water, refrigeration, electricity, adequate medical care and expensive formula, a high percentage of babies in Africa will die if the mother passes away. Everyone at Neema will be happy to love and care for him until he can return home. Please help us by sponsoring him while he is here.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
