Loveness

Beautiful baby Loveness came to Neema Village last week.  Her mother became pregnant at age 15 while in secondary school.  She lived with her grandmother because her parents were alcoholics.  When her grandmother died she had no one to help her.   Social Welfare asked that we keep the baby so she can finish school and pay the mom’s school fees, about $250 USD.   Getting an education for these girls makes all the difference in what kind of life she will have for the baby.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
