Lepaso and Lemodia

July 2023- Tiny baby boys Lemodia and Lepaso came to Neema weighing 2.175 kg and 3.150 kg. They were born June 5, 2023. The twins are all head and eyes! Their Maasai mom died during childbirth of retained placenta. An aunt was trying to feed the twins and her baby at the same time. They tried to care for the babies for a month out in the village but realized the twins were not growing. We will stand in until the little boys can return home. They will need sponsors until they are ready to return home.  Thank you for caring for the “least of these.”

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
