Kesia

While we were flying for 22 hours to get to Neema Village on November 27, 2024, little Kesia was fighting to survive out in a remote Maasai village after the death of her mom. With little chance of the newborn surviving the village leader knew he had to get help for the baby. The father, grandmother and village leader arrived at Neema about the same time we arrived from America.
The mom of four other children had died of retained placenta. Such a sad and needless death. Hopefully baby Kesia will be able to return home after a few months at Neema Village.  While she is with us she will need a sponsor.  Thanks.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
