Junior

Healthy baby boy Junior came to Neema last Saturday, he is around five months old. His mom was having a hard time at home. Her stepdad did not want her living at home with a baby anymore. So, she decided to take the baby and leave him with his father. They are both young, the father did not know what to do. Social welfare said Neema Village will take care of Junior till they can figure out a safe place for the baby. The mother has come to visit and hopefully a plan can be made on Monday. Hopefully we can help this family be together again soon.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
