Joshua Laitayok

Two Maasai men, in typical Maasai warrior dress accompanied grandmother and this beautiful baby boy to Neema last week. He was four days old and had jaundice. The father and uncle were apprehensive about leaving the baby at Neema and had to come check us out before they would leave him. Kelly says the dad has called often to make sure the baby is okay. Yes, Maasai have cell phones, they may live in a mud hut and drink cow blood and milk every day but they still have a cell phone! We will need help keeping Joshua at Neema, it cost over $300 dollars to keep a baby here. You can sponsor this little guy or help sponsor him. Any amount will help but most people start with $30 per month. It is easy to set up a monthly sponsorship.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
