The sweet little boy was brought to Neema by one of the hospital Staff in Arusha. Jonathan is about 2 weeks old and his mother is mentally unstable. She thought he was a snake and tried to kill him. Tanzania is the 16th poorest country on the earth and in very poor countries like Tanzania there are few government programs to help the mentally ill. Many of those people live on the streets. We are praying this poor mother will find help and be able to take her little boy home again. Until then we will love and care for him.
