Jackson

Baby Jackson came to Neema Village this week. His young father has been trying to care for the one month old after the death of his wife from malaria but the baby was very malnourished and weighed about 7 lbs or 3.3 kg. We will love him until someone in the family can be found to care for the baby, hopefully before the age of two. How is it that people still die at high death rates from something treatable like malaria? So sad.  If you could help us keep babies like Jackson we would so appreciate that.   Sponsorships pay for nannies salaries, food, formula, utilities, petrol and medical.  They do hot pay for buildings or Map programs.  Asante sana!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
