Baby Grace came to Neema in the summer of 2021.  She is a big healthy baby weighing about 3 kg.  Her mother hemorrhaged and died during the birth.   It is so sad losing all the mothers who die in childbirth in Africa.  Grace’s father is very young and cannot care for a small baby.  Hopefully a family member can be found who can keep her, until the father remarries.  In the meantime we will need sponsorship for this beautiful baby to stay at Neema.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
