Glory

Glory is a sweet eleven month old, born May 27, 2021. She came from her Maasai village, last Thursday. Her mother has had some very serious mental health issues for a long time now. She was trying to hurt little Glory and others, with fire. The Grandmother had to tie up the mother to get her to stop. It is always hard to think what these babies have been through before we get them.  Baby Glory is doing well and appears to be very healthy. Glory has a four year old sibling at Help for Maasai, so when Glory is older she will go be with her big sister there. Please pray the mother gets the help she needs and pray for the grandmother as she tries to help her daughter.  Without places for the mentally ill here in Africa it is usually left to the family to deal with problems like this.  So very sad.
Please consider sponsoring little Glory while she is here at Neema. Go to www.neemavillage.org. Thank You!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
