Geneviva

A tiny new baby arrived at Neema Village today, Marchi 10, 2026.
Geneviva was born January 2 at just 27 weeks, weighing only 1 kg (2.2 lbs). During the pregnancy her mother developed severe heart problems, which affected her liver, and later pneumonia. Sadly, she passed away on March 7.
Geneviva’s grandmother took her to the clinic because she was not gaining weight. The clinic sent her to the hospital, and they immediately called Neema Village.
Dr. Teddy says she is healthy, but is only 1.7 kg (3.7) — our goal now is to help this little girl gain weight and grow strong. She is in our NICU room with a nanny feeding her every two hours.
Please pray for this tiny girl. Our hope is that once she is bigger and stronger, she can return home to her family.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
