Furaha

March 2020- Furaha came to Neema on March 25. She was born March 9th. Furaha  means Joy.  She is healthy and beautiful, weighing 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs). Furaha spent a week with her mother before she sadly passed away. Her mother went to the hospital for help when she started feeling weak and had a cough. She was put on oxygen but sadly due to HIV she did not recover. Furaha came to Neema with her father, he is very proud of his daughter and loves her. When she is older and off formula she will return home. Please consider sponsoring her will she is here.


Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
