Faith #2

April 2020, Baby Faith was born in a hospital and afterwards the mother walked out and abandoned her.  The hospital usually waits a few days to give the mother time to return but the baby’s mother never returned.  The Neema Village Social Worker, Angel, was at the hospital picking up another baby whose mom had died when they asked if she would take this abandoned baby as well.  So Angel came home with 2 babies that day.  This happened during the Corona Pandemic and the nannies at Neema Village chose the name Faith.  We believe a good family will someday be chosen to adopt this sweet baby, until then please help us care for her.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
