Dorcas was born on December 7, 2018. She was delivered at a hospital through caesarian section. Her mothers condition was not good. She was taken to another hospital for care but sadly still passed away. The father asked the nurse for help in looking after his baby. She told him about Neema. Dorcas came to Neema on December 18th, weighing 3.5kg. She is healthy and safe. We will care for her till her father or other family member can take her home.
Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
