Caden

Two precious new babies arrived at Neema Village late yesterday.
Little Caden was born at just 30 weeks. His mother believed he was too tiny to survive, so she left the hospital and never returned. After spending his first month in the NICU, the hospital called and asked if Neema Village would care for him. Caden arrived weighing only 3½ pounds. Our Nannies have already begun feeding him every two hours, giving him the love and care he needs to grow stronger. We continue to pray that his mama will come back looking for him and that, if she does, she will find hope and help at Neema Village.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
