Baby boy Bryson was born November 14 and put in the Neo Natal unit with severe breathing problems. Unfortunately, his mom, age 23 developed Postpartum Hemorrhage, and even though there was great effort to save her, she died the next day. This is an all too common occurrence here in Africa.
Bryson came to Neema Village on December 12, weighing 3.0 kg (7 lbs) in fair condition. His father accompanied him to Neema, shedding many tears. Our Social Worker, Angel, comforted him with the assurance that his son is in a safe place now. We pray that little Bryson will be able to go home to his family when he is older and healthy. In the meantime, he will be very loved and cared for here at Neema Village.
Bryson needs sponsors. How about you?
Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
