Brightness

Its 2am here at Neema Village. A young man is at the gate calling for help. In his arms is his 1 month old baby girl named Brightness. Her young mother disappeared several days ago and he has no way to care for her. It’s always hard to understand why a mother would leave her newborn baby but its not up to us to judge. We are called to love and care for Brightness until she can return home.  Please help us care for these little ones.  They have no one else.  Blessings

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
