Anuari

Amani and Anuari, little twins from Dar, came to Neema with their 15 year old mother, Jasmin. They were born August 26, 2024 through a cesarian birth. They were both healthy weighing 3.3 (7.2 lbs) and 2.8 (6.1 lbs) when they arrived. Their mother is staying with us at Neema at the MAP apartments and is feeding the boys. She is also having her incision looked after from the Neema doctors. Jasmin has had a very hard life for one so young. She lived with a step mother and her father, she never knew her mother. Her father abused her, she decided to run away from her life in Zanzibar. She was living on the streets in Dar es Salaam when she met a boy who said he would help her but took advantage of her instead. She became pregnant and after she went to the hospital to have the boys she had nowhere to go so a kind lady helped her and brought her to Neema, all the way from Dar. We will help this young mom know that she is safe and loved and most important she will hear about Jesus. She is very scared right now and we are so thankful she is now in a place of Hope. We pray eventually Jasmin can go to school, she has never been to school. We will keep her boys for her until she is able. Please pray for all of her anxiety to be taken away.
Please consider sponsoring this little family while they are here. Go to www.neemavillage.org, thank you!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
