Sara is a young mother 22 years old from Tanga with an 8-month old baby daughter, whose husband abandoned her. She had no family to help. Neema Village gave her money for food and a good place to live in the MAP mothers apartments. She was excited to start her own business, so in September of 2018, Neema helped her get started selling used clothes. Her business is going so well now, that she is able to support herself and her child. She has been attending the sewing classes at Neema and made the skirt she shows in the picture.
