Salma

A New mom, Salma, twenty 23 years old with 2 kids and pregnant joins the MAP program.  She has no family, she was raised up with her grandfather after her mom abandoned her when she was the age of 1 year. She doesn’t know her mother or her father.  Now the grandfather has passed away so she is alone with no family.  She began begging on the street and that is where she got pregnant again, she doesn’t know the father of her pregnant baby because she used to sleep with many different men so that she could get money to feed her kids.  She met Ima our Neema driver when she was begging one day and Ima directed her to Neema’s MAP program that helps women like Salma. Ima gave her ten thousand shillings for a pikipiki ride to reach Neema for help.  We don’t know what her business will be but most MAP businesses are around $500 USD.  Since the IRS will not let us give tax able help to a specific woman you can help by contributing to the MAP program.  It changes lives!
