Neema #4

The young mother’s name is actually Neema, which in Swahili means grace. Her two year old girl’s name is Glory. She was abandoned by her husband after the child was born and although she’s a trained hairstylist she has not been able to earn a living since her husband sold all of her equipment and supplies when he left her. So for the last two years she has been sleeping on the floor of a friends rented room just a few blocks from Neema Village.  She has been very discouraged and did not know where to turn for help until someone told her about Neema Village.  We will set her back up in her hair stylist business and find a home for her and her little girl.  What a great business for women who style hair to help with!  Blessings,

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
