Margreth is a young woman with a small child who was working in the local dump picking up used plastic water bottles to sell. She had been living in Tanga with her husband but after the baby was born he kicked them out. She moved back to Arusha and was living in a small room with her mother. The depression and hopelessness in this young mother’s eyes was very sad and when we went to visit her we knew we had to help her. With Neema Village’s help through the MAP program she has started a vegetable stand business. Vegetable stand businesses cost about $250.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
