Mama Purity

Mama Purity:

Mama Purity is a beautiful young woman who came home one day to find her husband gone, never to return again. He abandoned her with her young baby who has cerebral palsy, a situation we are all too familiar with. To make matters worse, when he left he took everything that they owned with him. She began going from home to home and begging in the little village that sits down the mountain from Neema. The village elders brought the situation to our attention and we were happy to help this sweet mama get set up with a vegetable business! She is doing well and baby Purity is spending the day in therapy at the Neema Village handicapped baby daycare.

Update: Mama Purity had to move from Moshono village to Checherini and will be setting up a new vegetable business with a new clientele.  Her baby Purity has been in the hospital and she has not able to work her business.  We will help her start again.  Sometimes our MAP moms need a little extra help.  Thank you for helping them.
