Mama Glory

Mama Glory

Mama Glory was brought to our attention by a Neema staff member. She was a mother of three and had always been a good mom, but a few months ago her husband left her and told her he would not return. She had always stayed home with the children and now had no way to pay for rent or food. She became very depressed and desperate. She began trying anything to make some money and the situation became dangerous for both her and her children. Anna approached her and was able to learn about her situation and how hopeless she felt. She spoke to her about possible businesses and found out that Mama Glory had experience doing hair. We were able to find a hair salon near her home that had recently shut down and the owner was willing to sell the shop and supplies at a discount. She will be set up in the salon where she will be able to use her experience doing hair to care for her family. She is already so much happier. It is amazing what hope can do!

When you leave this earth you can take nothing you have received, only what you have given.
