Magreth

Anna, Director of MAP writes today,

“The mom’s name is Magreth, she is 22 years old, and a mother of one child. Her baby was born with Downs Syndrome, she is living with her grand mother because her mother has mental problems.

The father left Magreth when he saw the baby.

The baby has a big tongue, this make it very difficult to feed her, so the baby has malnutrition as well.

A lady met Magreth in the hospital, and because this lady knows about Neema village, she wrote an email to Michael Fortson, and MIchael directed me to visit the mama. After the first visit I knew this poor girl needed help.

She lives far, so she will need to come to Neema and live in the MAP houses for a while so that we can help her baby with the medical problems. She will move in next week and we will help her learn a skill so she can support herself and her baby.”

Magreth will also learn at Neema Village how much God loves her and wants a better life for her. Bless those of you who support the MAP (Mothers Against Poverty) program at Neema Village. That face of sadness and desperation will soon turn to Hope because Hope never disappoints!
