Meet Esta, a beautiful woman, who was abandoned by her husband, after they had six children together. One of her children, Joshua, was born missing part of one of his arm. When she came to Neema Village for assistance because she was desperate for help, she was getting so little water that she couldn’t even bathe her children, so two of children had horrible scabies on their heads. Neema helped her with the medical expenses so that her babies could be free from scabies. They are now healthy, and this family has a place to live and money for food provided by us. She started a vegetable business in January of 2019 and is building this business.
Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
