Christina

Crying profusely, twenty four year old Christina, a widow, told Anna her story yesterday. She had been happily married and had a little boy then her husband died.  Her Maasai village elders said she must now marry an old man so Christina ran away to escape from marrying the old man.  Without any family and without an education she was alone and had no one to help her. until she heard about Neema Village.  She is eager to learn a skill to be able to support her little boy.  Anna our MAP Director will be counseling with her about what business she thinks she would like to do.  Most of our MAP businesses cost around $500 which includes six months of support while they are in training.  The beauty shop business is a bit more but any help you can give to help young women like C/hristina have hope and a future would be appreciated.  Bless you.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
