Caroline

Caroline is a 28 year old widow and mother of three. Her husband died after being sick for a long time, battling a liver problem. After the loss of her husband, life became increasingly difficult. Caroline attempted to find her husband’s family in an effort to gain some support but never succeeded. Eventually, she had no place to go or live, so she convinced a night guard to allow her and her children to stay in an unfinished house at a construction site he was guarding. With absolutely nothing, the family began staying in the unfinished house each night. After being enrolled in MAP, Caroline began selling fruit and is doing very well. She has even recently enrolled herself in a vocational training program which we are very proud of!
