Aunty Angel and Angelous

Aunt Angel & Angelous

Angel and Angelous are beloved twins that spent their first years of life at Neema Village after their mom died.  Their father is an alcoholic.   When it was time to arrange a plan for them to return home, Neema Village approached their relatives. We found that their young aunt was willing to take them but did not feel she had the resources to care for the twins since she had just finished school. We were able to set her up with a small shop selling common food and household items in order for her to make a living and be able to take Angel & Angelous home.  Our driver took home some of her vegetables.
Angel and Angelous are both doing very well in school, with their good start in English at Neema Village they are always in  the top percentage of their classes.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
