Anneth

Anneth

Anneth is a mother of two children of her own as well as foster mother to two of our sweet Neema Village boys, Meshack and Ema. When Anneth came to us she had been recently abandoned by her husband who was very physically abusive to her. When he wanted to bring a second wife in, Anneth refused and he kicked her out.  She began begging for help around town and spoke to a woman who had heard about the MAP program. We were so surprised to see a woman that was so sweet despite the years of abuse she had endured. She is now operating a small store selling rice and other essentials and is doing a great job taking care of her own children and being the new foster mama for two of our precious kiddos!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
