Anna

Anna is 30 years old and has three children. For many years she was happily married, but life was hard because her husband was often out of work and the money was very tight. When the family started falling behind on rent, her husband asked her to go to a nearby church to ask for help. Anna took the children and walked to the church to seek help, and when she came back her husband was gone. A group of people at the church began helping this young mother of two who was then pregnant with her third child. They rented a small room for her with one twin sized bed for her and all of her children to sleep in.  When the situation was brought to our attention we knew we could help. She was quickly moved into a bigger room with a bigger bed and is now running a vegetable stand business. 


How to Help
Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
