Anna

Anna is 21 years old. She has taken on several different challenges in her life. Social welfare connected Anna to Neema after she had abandoned her baby James. He was already with us at Neema and Anna decided she wanted to have her baby back. She stayed at the MAP apartments for some time and attended counseling classes and other seminars.  Once changes were evident, Anna was reunited with James. She has now started a business cooking and selling chips (french-fries). We will help support her until she is able to get back on her feet. You can support these MAP (Mothers Against Poverty) moms by donating to the MAP program at Neema Village.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
