Angela

Angela is a 38 year old mother of three. When her third child was born with disabilities her husband abandoned the family. When Angela came to our attention the handicapped child was getting big and it was increasingly difficult for her to get work. She had been working day jobs but could not leave her handicapped child at home alone and could not afford to hire a caregiver. We were able to help her get set up operating a soup business which allows her to work near her home. She can now make money for her family while still caring for her handicapped child while she works.

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
