Arianna

Arianna came to Neema Village as a healthy 3 month old. Her mother is 18 years old and is an alcoholic and a prostitute. Baby Arianna was left by her mother with her grandmother, who still has small children of her own. The mother said that she would kill the baby if she had to care for her. A neighbor stepped in to help the grandmother after hearing her and the mother fighting often. Social welfare was called to help and Arianna was brought to Neema Village. We will love and care for this precious little one while a safe plan is worked out for her future!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
