Rita is a 21-year-old widow, with 2 sweet babies. She was begging on the street with her two young children. She was told by someone that she could stay in a building that was unfinished, and it was next to a bar. Because she was so desperate, she stayed there, even though it was very dangerous with no doors or windows in the house but she felt she did not have any other options. When Neema Village found her in January of 2019, she was so skinny because she had been giving most of the food to her children. We helped her move into some of the MAP housing and helped her get started with a business selling underwear. She has also taken sewing classes and has been given a sewing machine.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
