Lucy #2

Lucy #2

March 2020- Lucy came to Neema on the 9th of March weighing 6.2 lbs (2.8kg) She was born at a “good” hospital in town on February 26 through c-section. Her mom the following day started having trouble breathing, she informed the nurse but soon passed away.Lucy came to the hospital with her dad and grandmother. Her grandmother would like to care for Lucy, but she is too old and cannot. It was very hard for her to leave her here. Lucy’s sibling is two years old and staying with a close friend of the family. An aunt and uncle were caring for Lucy until she came to Neema. They are unable to continue because they have a little baby of their own. The dad’s plan is to come back for her after a year and a half and take her home. The family is always welcome to visit her anytime. We will love and care for her until they are able. Please consider sponsoring Lucy while she is here. Go to www.neemavillage.org for more information, thank you.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
